| ring friction surface. The screws that hold the insert to the rest of the flywheel are countersunk into the insert, the same way the inserts on the RPS FW are. I do agree that the RPS is better because the segmented design keeps the srufaces from warping. Also, I stripped out one of the mounting holes on my Fidanza - the RPS has steel helicoil threads already so you won't strip out the soft aluminum. Both flywheels drive the same - I didn't have to adjust my driving style when I switched from the Fidanza to the RPS.
